My name is Lisa Ritchie and I qualified as an HND Beauty therapist in 2006 and have worked in Linlithgow since then as a self employed beauty therapist. I was based in Natural Therapies for 14 years and moved premises in August 2020 to work within Skin Happy, which is also situated in Linlithgow.
I have always loved working in the beauty industry but decided that I wanted to further my career into permanent makeup. In February 2018, I travelled to Windsor to train with Dermagraph, which is one of the top UK accredited training academies in Microblading. This gave me the drive and determination to follow my dreams of becoming a permanent makeup artist and my microblading career took off immediately.
In March 2019, I took the next step and travelled down south again, this time to train with The Clinical Academy, which is another one of the best and well known training academies in the UK. This time I trained in Micropigmentation and non laser tattoo removal, which I can now offer varied styles of brows, colour correction as well as brow or tattoo removal.
In January 2020 I travelled down south again, this time to take in a 2 day masterclass with two International trainers from America and Ireland, Mary Ritcherson and Monic Ivani, which meant I could now offer their signature styles of machine hair strokes, combination and ombre brows.
Later on in the year I also learned the trademarked "Diamond brow" and "Dusty Diamond brow" I also trained in eyeliner from the Moya Wren Academy in Scotland and absolutley love doing eyeliner procedures. I also moved premises in 2020 to the new clinic.
In 2021 I have done various masterclasses in both brows and eyeliner. 'Powderblend'' 'Browblend' and 'Velvetliner' are all trademarked names by well known trainers in the UK. I have also trained in Areola with the amazing Vicky Martin, who is an International trainer for areola reconstruction and is one of the best in the industry. My plan is to offer a free monthly clinic for anyone who unfortunately has had breast cancer and havent had their areolas reconstructed.
In March 2022, I travelled down to Newcastle to train with the amazing Elaine Campin in Lip Blush.
Lip blush is fast becoming a new trend for lips with many now opting for this over havinf fillers done as Lip Blush can give the illusion of your lips being fuller.
In this industry ongoing training is a must to keep your skill level up, every couple of months I invest in artist masterclasses to gain extra knowlegde in the indusrty. I absolutley love learning new techniques so that I can cater for everyone. I am also a member of the PMU circle which I am constantly learning new styles and tips from the best in the industry on a monthly basis.
I am also a fully trained Actfast technician, which ensures that all procedures are performed safely and legally. I am also fully insured and council registered.
Permanent eyebrow procedures have become a huge part of the beauty industry and it is my passion. I absolutely love what I do and I strive to be the best I can be. I live and breathe brows and am a total perfectionist and give every client my all. I use only the best of products and you can be rest assured you will be in safe hands as my aim is to give you a great service amd make you feel more confident with your new natural looking permanent makeup that will enhance your facial features.
