Microblading and Blade and Shades are explained below
Microblading is a hot topic right now. It's a method of creating realistic and semi-permanent hair strokes. It differs from conventional tattooing as we are not implanting blocks of colour, we are creating lines that mimic real hairs in the skin. Microbladed lines, properly executed, stand up to all but the closest scrutiny, they are crisp, perfectly defined and look amazing!
Microblading is a form of tattoo artistry where pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual hand held tool instead of a machine. The superfine pen is a bundle of tightly knitted needles which deposits the pigment into the skin. The tip is so fine that itcan create individual hair strokes that look real and these micro fine needles reach only the superficial layers of the skin and is what makes this method semi-permanent.
Results last 12 to 18 months or more (aftercare, lifestyle and skin type dependant)
Realistic hair strokes instead of block colour
Individual hair strokes allow natural feathering effect
Edges of Microblade strokes are crisp and well defined
Can carry out partial treatments to extend, repair, or add volume to natural brows
Colours tend to fade more naturally over time
Blade & Shade is a combination of microbladed hair strokes combined with shading as a back drop done with a digital PMU machine. It gives the crispness of individual strokes at the bulb of the brow and throughout the body whilst giving the sharp look of a beautiful shaded tail.
This is one of my most popular styles of brows as you are getting the best of both with the natural look of hairstrokes at the front of your brow with a more make up look towards the tail of the brow.
This style of brow is best for someone who would usually pencil in their brow but would still like that soft natural look of hairstrokes at the front
